Fly A Family Of Four To A Sunny Break In Under 4 Hours

It’s only mid-January, and if you’re anything like me, you might already be fed up with the UK winter season. I think it’s time to start looking for a sunny break in under 4 hours.

The UK has an average of 60 days of sunshine a year. No wonder why most brits opt to go abroad during the summer breaks. The most popular place to visit in Europe always seems to be Spain. Alicante in the South-East of Spain topped the list with 349 hours of sunshine a month. That’s half of the day, every day, is sunny in Alicante. Not too bad for a 2-hour 30 minute flight from Heathrow.

We’ve been experiencing a cost-of-living crisis since late 2021 and many families tightened the holiday budget settling for a staycations instead. It’s fair to say jetting off to a sunny break isn’t always on top of the list if you’re struggling to cover the essentials at home.

If the budget permits. Take a look at how you can get a family of four to fly to some sunshine in under 4 hours. The focus is on 4 hours because when you have little one’s travelling with you, anything further than 4 hours can be a hit or miss on the tantrums (not the best experience with limited legroom).
